Overview of Campground Amenities
Convenience Store
Low on firewood? Kids need a snack? Would you kill for a nice cup of coffee? We've got your back. Our campground store at the harbour entrance carries many of the essentials for enjoying our big boreal backyard to its fullest.
Fire Pits & Grills
Some of the best camping memories are made under the stars, sitting around an open fire. Each site comes standard with its own fire pit for guests to enjoy. You’ll also find public-use barbecue grills strategically located throughout our camping areas.
Fish Cleaning Station
When you come off the lake, stroll over to our new fish cleaning station to clean and prep your catch. Take advantage of the work surface and scrap bin, and then use the hose to spray things down afterward.
Pet-Friendly Accommodations
We want to ensure your beloved furry friends enjoy their stay just as much as you do. Your pets are more than welcome, provided that they're leashed when walking within the campground and harbour areas, and that they're attended at all times when at your campsite.
Picnic Tables and Outdoor Structures
As you stroll the grounds you'll discover a number of treed, strategically located picnic tables for patrons to use. The campground store features a shaded deck with bistro tables and chairs overlooking the harbour and lake, and there's also a quaint little gazebo nearby.
Potable Water Stations
Keeping folks hydrated is an important aspect of running a safe campground. Potable water stations are conveniently located at the main and west campgrounds, and are free for guest use.
Sani-Dump Station
Conveniently situated at the main campground, our sani-dump station is free for use by campers 16 years of age and older staying in at Canyon Creek Campground & Harbour. When finished, we ask that you use the adjacent hose to rinse the area. Please take care to not use the WATER hose to clean the SEWER area.
Toilets & Showers
Take a hot shower at the start of the day or before hitting the hay. Squeaky clean toilet and shower facilities are centrally located on the main campground lawn, and are available for all patrons to use.
Get your motor running
The Lesser Slave region is home to some of the finest off-roading trails around. Quads are welcome at the campground. For the sake of your fellow campers, please pick the quickest route and idle out of the area.
